For Joey King, it actually is just a phase, Mom.
The Kissing Booth star recently debuted a brand-new beauty look in the form of bleached eyebrows. And, as she hilariously revealed, not everyone has been loving the bold look.
"I dyed my eyebrows like a week ago," Joey announced in a Jan. 16 TikTok video. "They were like white before and now they just look like the Lorax mustache."
But despite her resemblance to the Dr. Seuss character, she added, “I kind of love it.”
However, when it came to showing her mom Jamie King, Joey was met with a different reaction.
“Then I saw my mom two days ago and she was like, 'I just can’t look at you. You look so weird,’” the 25-year-old admitted, before defending herself with, “Guys, I know I look weird. That’s the point.”
She continued, “I was like, 'Mom, that’s the point. The point is that I’m trying something different. I’m gonna dye them back but just let me have this.'"
